Personality Profiles..
My company is asking me to take a personality profile for a 3rd party's use (one of our vendors.) They are trying to build a profile for an ideal tech. BUT, there have been no assurances or even a reference to confidentiality, only a disclaimer that they can share this profile with whatever parties directed me there. The website also has a user specific login, and so nice of them, the username is my full first and last name.
I am refusing to take it, but was wondering if anyone had any experience with a situation like this? What are the rights of current employees to refuse such a test?
I know when you apply for a job, if you want it bad enough you may have to jump through hoops like this. However, I have this job, it is not even that good, and if they want to find out what makes me tick they can do it like everyone else... Get me drunk :p
